The Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering at CTIEMT is a specialized three-year program designed to bridge the gap between fundamental electronics and modern telecommunication systems. Lateral Entry (LEET – 2 Years)

The Lateral Entry program offers a streamlined path for students to join the second year (3rd semester) of their diploma, reducing the total course duration to two years.

To ensure a high standard of technical excellence, candidates seeking admission to CTIEMT (Polytechnic Wing) must meet the following requirements:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10th Standard (Matriculation) or its equivalent from a recognized educational board.
Compulsory Subjects: Applicants must have successfully completed their matriculation with Mathematics and Science as core subjects.

Minimum Marks Requirement: A minimum of 35% aggregate in the 10th-grade examinations is required, in accordance with the Punjab State Board (PSBTE & IT) norms.

Reserved Category Relaxation: Relaxation in minimum aggregate marks is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) as per the prevailing Government of Punjab and Board regulations.

Eligibility Criteria for Lateral Entry 

Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) with Science and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from a recognized board.
