The Business Management department provides a learning environment where managerial and entrepreneurship skills are inculcated. The philosophy of the department is translated into a mission of creating wholesome personalities in human beings with the view of producing effective managers, researchers, and teachers. Students are instilled with a modern mindset, practical wisdom, management knowledge, and skills. The department uses rigorous, multifaceted pedagogy with an effective interface with industry to translate the mission into action. It provides opportunities for its students to broaden their understanding of the economic, social, and political environments, not only to adjust to change but also to become catalysts, and to develop their conceptualization, decision-making, and communication skills.
The Department of Business Management is acting as a source of quality manpower for the industry. The department ensures that all the students are well skilled to face the industry challenges with their prior campus experience. We have highly qualified faculty members to train the students in managerial and communication skills to achieve the target of 100 % placement for the students. The Training & Placement Cell and Alumni are the strong organs of the College.
The management graduates as well as post graduate take calculated risks and work as change agents. The management department naturally helps the budding spark to imbibe all the values and ethos that have made it a ‘centre of excellence’ .We follow a comprehensive teaching, learning pedagogy including case based teaching, project based learning, business games, simulation exercise, experiential learning, expert talks from industry and academia.
