The M.Pharm Pharmacology educational programme is a two-year postgraduate programme that focuses on advising patients about drug dosages and researching and testing medications for particular medical conditions.  The term pharmacology refers to the study of the way drugs affect biological systems. It is the study of how chemicals that may be harmful to biological systems interact with them and how they impact the efficacy of those compounds as drugs. The goal of the course is to prepare students to conduct both pre-clinical and clinical research by providing them with an in-depth knowledge of the science underlying pharmacological effects.
