Jalandhar, October 07, 2023: Navya Kriti Season 4, a spectacular Intra-College Fashion Show that captured the essence of creativity and style at its finest. Hosted by the Department of Fashion Design at CT Group, this event was a vibrant celebration of fashion and innovation.
The runway came alive with a dazzling display of fashion collections, where students from various departments within the institution showcased their artistic talents and design prowess. The event provided a platform for budding fashion designers to express their unique visions and experiment with different styles.
The judging panel, comprised of distinguished figures from the fashion industry, added an element of prestige to the competition. The elite panel of fashion industry figures included Sidharth Kakkar, Pankaj Thakur, and Ramanpreet Kaur, founder of the Green Sparrow Project.
The CT Sustainable Initiative was a remarkable highlight, demonstrating the institution's commitment to eco-friendly practices. Here, students displayed ingenuity by crafting fashionable attire from recycled materials in collaboration with the Green Sparrow Project.
The winners of the event comprised Jaskiran Pawar and Khaliq, who were recognized as the Best Models. The Best Collection award went to Rajwinder Kaur, Madhu, Gurleen, and Neha from the CTIHpM Fashion Design Department. Moreover, Team No. 7 from the same department secured the Overall Trophy.
In attendance was the Co-Chairperson of CT Group, Ms. Parminder Kaur Channi; the Managing Director of CT Group, Dr. Manbir Singh; the Core team member of CT Group, Tanika Channi; the Dean of Research and Innovation, Dr. Dhami and Principal of CTIHM, Divoy Chhabra. Sidharth K. Kakkar stated, "An outstanding showcase of creativity and sustainability at Navya Kriti Season 4."
