An insightful and interactive alumni talk on “GPAT & NIPER JEE Preparation” was successfully organized on 31st March 2026 at 11:00 AM onwards at the CTIT Seminar Hall, CT College of Pharmacy, Shahpur Campus, Jalandhar. The event was organized by CT College of Pharmacy, Shahpur Campus, with the objective of guiding pharmacy students towards effective preparation strategies for competitive examinations such as GPAT and NIPER JEE, while also providing clarity on exam patterns, preparation methodologies, and the overall approach required to excel in these prestigious examinations.

The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from Diploma 1st year (1A & 1B) and B.Pharm students of 2nd, 4th, and 6th semesters. The alumni speaker, Mr. Anmoldeep Singh (M.S. Pharm, Medicinal Chemistry, NIPER Mohali), who has successfully qualified GPAT and NIPER JEE, shared valuable insights based on his personal academic journey and provided a practical roadmap for aspirants.

The session began with an overview of the significance of GPAT and NIPER JEE in shaping a successful career in the pharmaceutical field. It included a detailed discussion on effective preparation strategies, subject prioritization, and revision techniques for GPAT, along with a comprehensive explanation of the NIPER JEE examination pattern, syllabus, and selection process. The speaker also provided subject-wise preparation tips focusing on key areas such as pharmacology, pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, and pharmacognosy. In addition, students were guided on selecting appropriate study resources, standard books, and online platforms, along with the importance of time management and maintaining consistency throughout their preparation.

The interactive nature of the session encouraged active participation, allowing students to ask questions and clarify their doubts regarding preparation strategies and career pathways. The speaker also shared personal experiences, challenges, and success strategies, which created a motivating environment and inspired students to adopt a focused and disciplined approach towards their goals.

The event was successfully coordinated by Ms. Harshpreet Kaur, Assistant Professor, CT College of Pharmacy, Shahpur Campus, Jalandhar.
